Yemin Yehuda, a non-profit association, will soon begin building 200 housing units to expand the existing settlement of Shimon Hazadik, located in the heart of East Jerusalem's Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood. The expanded settlements and others settlements to be built in the area will disconnect East Jerusalem Arab neighborhoods from Jerusalem's Old City and further isolate the commercial center of East Jerusalem.
