Abed el Rahman Herbawee, the husband of Ghada, said that approximately twenty five settlers, some of them armed, attacked the houses during the night, ?my houses was one of these houses, three windows were broken and my wife was injured in the leg. We took her to the hospital?.
- On 19th October, three settlers from Ma?on settlement, east of Yatta, set fire to a car and tractor belonging to Hafez and Hisham Hurainee from Letwani village. Saber Hurainee, chairman of the Local Council, reports that the car and the tractor were first stopped at the main roadblock which had closed the village that morning. Following this the settlers set fire to them in full view of a number of soldiers present at the time.
- On 22nd October, settlers from Beit Hadasa outpost, downtown Hebron, renewed their attacks against the students from Qurtoba Elementary School for girls, opposite of the outpost. Some students reported that the settlers stood on the rooves of the outpost and threw stones and eggs at them as they left school in the afternoon. The students added that all attacks took place in fornt of soldiers on the nearby checkpoint who did nothing to stop the settlers. The same day settlers from Ramot Yashai renewed their attacks against Abu Aisha?s house, they chased eight year old Shareef Abu Aisha when he tried to leave his house in the afternoon. The same settlers tried to beat Fida Abu Aisha, 16 years old, while she was coming home from school. Their father, Tayseer Abu Aisha, reported that these actions were in the sight of the soldiers the adjacent checkpoint but they did nothing to stop the settlers? attacks.
- On 23rd October, tens of settlers, some of them armed, from Sham?a settlement, south of Hebron, confiscated approximately 30 dumans in Wedada and Atereyya. The land belong to the Abu Awwad and Mahareeq families from Samu?a village. The settlers did this in cooperation with soldiers. The settlers put signs around the land and the soldiers informed the farmers when they came to see what was happening that the land had become part of the settlement. The Municipality in the village with the owners of the land made a legal appeal to Israeli court to stop the confiscation.
- On 30th October, during the night tens of settlers from Kiryat Arba and other outposts in the city stoned ten houses in Wadi Nassara, south of the settlement, the houses belong to the Jaber, Sa?afeen and Da?na families. Faisal Ahmad Jaber, 45, was taken to Muhtaseb Hospital after he was stones were thrown at his head. The same night four settlers from Karmel, east of Yatta, stoned houses in Om el Khair, south of the settlement. They damaged the wheels of Salem Mohammed Hadaleen?s car. The soldiers came later and opened an investigation file on the event.
- In the evening of 31st October, ten armed settlers from Sosya settlement, east of Yatta, attacked farmers on land near the settlement whilst they harvested their olives. They took approximately 3000 kg of crops that the farmers had gathered. The crops belong to the Shamistee and Batsh families. Fawwaz Shamistee said ?the settlers came and opened fire at us, forcing us to leave. They started taking what we had gathered. The soldiers came when they heard the shooting and stopped two of the settlers while the rest escaped with the crops.
- On 1st November, ten armed settlers from outposts in downtown Hebron entered a lawer?s office in the Sahla Qaurter of the old city, belonging to Mosbah Naser el Deen. Eyewitnesses said the settlers damaged the door then set fire to it. The same day settlers from Kharsena settlement, north-east of the city cut down ten olive trees belonging to Zuhdi Sultan and thirty vines belonging to the Leddawi family. The trees were located in Bowaira, west of the settlement. Sultan reported that the attacks took place over two days. The families appealed to the Israeli court about the attacks.
- In the afternoon of 2nd November, tens of settlers from Kiryat Arba cut down and damaged thirty five vines in Wadi Nassara belonging to Naser Da?na. Furthermore they destroyed the stone walls in the fields close the south side of the settlements? fence.
- On 8th November, settlers from Karmel settlement, south of Yatta started building a new outpost 150 meters south of Karmel. Land Defense Committees sources said that the new outpost was a result of the settlements? expansion project in the area. Approximately 50 dunams have been confiscated recently, belonging to the Hadaleen family. The work on the outpost is carried out by settlers but under the Army control.
- In the morning of 17th
October, approximately ten settlers stopped at the main entrance to
Beit Foureek village, Nablus district and stoned the Palestinians cars.
Five cars? windows were broken. The settlers? attack continued for one
hour.
- On 25th
October, settlers from Qedumim settlement, Qalquilya District attacked
many residents from Jet village, east of Qalquilya. Eyewitnesses said
that while tens of people were waiting for shared taxis at the main
entrance to the village approximately fifteen settlers from Qedumim,
most of them armed, came and attacked the people. Mo?aweya
Ali Hasanain, 18, was injured in the face and head and taken to
hospital. Also five cars? glasses were broken during the attack.

On 1st November, Azeez Abed El Kareem Hanani 71 years old from Beit
Dajan village, Nablus District, was seriously injured in his legs,
hands, face and head when two settlers from Elon Moreh settlement
attacked him with knives and sticks. Azzez reported that ?As I was
returning home in the afternoon after a day?s work feeding my goats in
the fields near my village, I saw two armed settlers came from Elon
Moreh and without speaking they started beating me with sticks, when I
lay on the ground they cut my clothes and skin with knives. They
focused on my legs and hands, I couldn?t move or stand then they left?.
When the goats came alone to the home, the family and the villagers
suspected that something had happened to Azzez. His son, Mahmmoud, said, many villagers went to look for him and they found him in a bloody mess. They
took him to the Arabic Hospital in Nablus. Azzez added that this is the
third time that he faced settlers? attack in the last two years. The
first time was fifteen months previously when settlers from the same
settlement opened fire at him as he was feeding his goats but he
managed to escape, the second time was last May when five settlers
stoned him and his goats.
- On 9th November, Imad Lotfee Suwwan, 43, from Amateen
village, east of Qalquilya, suffered injuries to the head after
settlers from Yakir stoned him as he travelled in a service car on the
main road, near the settlement. He was taken to hospital in Qalquilya.
- On 14th November, tens of settlers from many settlements and outpost north of Ramallah attacked farmers from Senjil
town during the oliveharvest, the settlers used stones to force many
farmers to leave the land and also cut down and damaged some trees with
knives. Mayor of the town, Imad Masalmeh, reported ?This is not the
first time that the settlers attacked farmers from my town, last week
Afeef Saleh, a farmer, was injured in many parts of the body after
settlers beat him up. He was taken to hospital in
Ramallah. We complained to the Israelis through Palestine?s Authority
but the settlers continued their attacks.
- On 15th
November, settlers from Mehola settlement, east of Tobas, Jenin
District continued the expansion of the settlement which they started a
few days previously, with a new fence south of the settlement for which
they confiscated a further twenty five dunams. This new fence is added to other three fences that was building before. Mehola
settlement is one of the most agriculture settlements in the north for
which these settlers have confiscated thousands of dunams from the
nearby villages of Maleh, Bardala, Kardala and Tel al-Baida.
- 0n 6th November, settlers from Ma?on settlement, south east of Yatta, prevented farmers and many International and Israeli activists from harvesting olives near the settlements. At the time that farmers from Letwani village came with activists to harvest twelve settlers, most of them armed attacked them and beat some of the farmers. Later soldiers arrived but the settlers escaped.
- On 14th November, the house of Jamal Abu Es?ifan was attacked by settlers from Kiryat Arba. The settlers threw stones and empty bottles. Three year old Nor el Deen and four year old ?Ezz el Deen were injured by glass shards. Jamal reports that this is part of regular attacks on his and other houses by these settlers.
Bethlehem Region
- On 17th October, over twenty settlers from Kfar Atzion and other settlements south of Bethlehem engaged in marches on the main road, during which they stoned many Palestinians cars. Drivers from Hebron and Bethlehem regions said that five cars were attacked, the stones smashing the windows. Israeli policemen came and allowed the Palestinians drivers to leave but told them not use the road again.
- On 22nd October, Sa?eed Mosa Abu Fara, 18, suffered head injuries when a group of settlers from Kfar Atzion stoned him as he was waiting for a shared taxi at the main junction east of the settlement. According to Palestinian Authority sources he was seriously injured in the head but the settlers refused for half an hour to give him to the ambulance belonging to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.
Nablus and North of West Bank Region
