The Winograd committee of inquiry is not a part of the solution. It is a part of the
problem. The
important part of the report is the one that is not there. The report is full
of holes, like the proverbial Swiss cheese. There is no
mention of the fact that this was from the start a superfluous, senseless and
hopeless war.

African Minister of Intelligence Mr. Ronnie Kasrils visited the Palestinian
territories from 01 May to 06 May 2007, including the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. Minister Kasrils lead a delegation
that represented both the Government of South Africa and the ruling party, the
African National Congress (ANC), and included Mr. Dumisani Sithole Member of
South Africa's Parliament (MP) and Chairperson of the Parliamentary Portfolio
Committee on Foreign Affairs; Dr Ted Pekane South African Representative to the
Palestinian National Authority; Ms M Ntenteni of the ANC Women's League as well
as senior officials.
