| PCHR Report on Israeli Human Rights violations 6 - 12 October 2005
Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR) revealed that 4 Palestinian citizens, including 2 children, were killed by Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) during the last week.

| UNRWA Publishes its Emergency Appeal 2005
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) published Thursday its Emergency Appeal 2005 - Special Report. Since 2000, UNRWA has delivered emergency programming in West Bank and Gaza with the aim of protecting vulnerable refugee population from the worst effects of the countermeasures which Israel has deployed against the Intifada.

Faculty Perspective: On the Question of Divestment from Israel/Palestine
Editorial submitted to University Record (University of Michigan faculty-staff newspaper)
On February 22, 2005, the Dearborn campus Student Government passed a resolution calling for immediate divestment from Israel. This was the first time any U-M student group has passed such a resolution, and one of the first nationwide. That action sparked a discussion among the Dearborn faculty, and reenergized our belief that this issue required further investigation.

| Palestinian police clash with Hamas
A Palestinian policeman and two civilians have been killed during clashes between security forces and Hamas members in Gaza City. More than 40 people were also reported wounded in the fighting on Sunday evening, the first such incident since Israel withdrew from Gaza last month, witnesses said.
