Israeli interference would only hurt the PA leadership and strengthen Hamas

Sharon was quoted by The New York Times at an interview after his speech at the UN 60 years anniversary meeting in New York that Israel might not remove roadblocks in the West Bank, making it difficult for Palestinians there to vote, if Hamas, runs in the 25 January ballot. But many political analysists warn that this steps will only strengthern Hamas even more.

The Settlers celebrate the death of Jamil Abu Heykal

The day that marked the death of  seventy-year-old Jamil Abu Heykal, a citizen of Tel Romeida in the old city of Hebron, became an important event in the city.  The local media and press focused on his death, but they also focused on his life.
