BDS demo in Paris France

Representatives of the French BDS group Coordination des Appels pour une Paix Juste au Proche-Orient (CAPJPO) Europpalestine will be appearing in court in Paris on 29th October on charges of discrimination, hate and violence.
On 4 July 2009 the group organized an event at a Carrefour supermarket in Evry, where they sang songs, spoke, danced, and informed shoppers of their work (video of the event here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dWFlRDfcxYQ&feature=player_embedded#!).
They then published the video, and are being charged that the film constitutes an "offense of incitement to discrimination, hatred or violence against a group of people on account of their belonging to the Israeli nation."
The French “National Bureau of vigilance against anti-Semitism” is taking action in court.
According to Jews Sans Frontiers, this is not the only act of judicial persecution of BDS in France. This month will come to appeal the conviction of Sakina Arnaud for racial incitement for having damaged an Israeli product packaging. Next month, three activists from Perpignian, Yamina Tadjeur, Jeanne Rousseau and Bernard Cholet from "Collective 66 for Peace and Justice in Palestine" are to be tried for participation BDS activities (more here in French http://www.europalestine.com/spip.php?article5393).
CAPJPO is asking sites to host this video in solidarity with their struggle against this accusation of racism. They are also asking that activists in France write to
Monsieur le Procureur de la République
près du Tribunal de Grande Instance de Paris
Palais de Justice 14, quai des Orfèvres,
75001 Paris, France,
and ask to be included among those charged for racial incitement.
