This morning, Israeli forces killed two 17-year-old Palestinians, demolished most of Khirbet Tana, and conducted mass arrests.
This morning, the Israeli army killed Labib Khaldoon Anwar Azzam and Mohammed Hisham Ali Zaghlawan, both 17 years old, inside Eli settlement south of Nablus. Both children are from Qaryut village, also south of Nablus.
Israeli authorities claim that the two “infiltrated” the settlement and attacked an Israeli settler. Once Israeli forces arrived at the scene they opened fire, killing both children.
Also on Wednesday morning, Israeli army bulldozers demolished dozens of structures in Khirbet Tana, a village near Beit Furik, on the eastern side of Nablus. Israeli forces demolished residential homes, barns and agricultural structures. Village residents primarily rely on livestock and agriculture to survive.
Khirbet Tana's only school was not spared by Israeli authorities; it was demolished too. Now, children from Khirbet Tana will forced to go to other villages if they wish to continue their studies.
Last night, Israeli forces conducted mass arrests across the West Bank, and detained 23 Palestinians from Jenin, Hebron, Nablus, Ramallah, Bethlehem and East Jerusalem. In Hebron, Israeli soldiers also raided the homes of three released prisoners, Mohammed Ebaido, Saed Qawasmi and Abed Alkareem Qawasmi.
