Over 1600 Palestinians killed in Syria

Over 1600 Palestinian refugees have been killed in the Syrian war in the past 2.5 years, according to the Action Group for the Palestinian Refugees in Syria.


In a detailed report, the group states that Palestinian refugee camps have been explicitly targeted, with some 40 percent of those killed hit by shellings of their camps. The report is unclear about who conducts the targeted shelling and killing of Palestinian refugees, noting only that they were killed in clashes between Syrian government forces and the Free Syrian Army.
